La Gomera is an island that welcomes visitors to wander its many trails.
There are more than 600 kilometres of trails,where walking is a pleasure for the senses.
The island’s abrupt terrain is the reason for each of the different hiking routes on La Gomera.
Essential routes on La Gomera
- San Sebastián – Playa de La Guancha: An 8.5-km trail that ends at the peaceful beach of La Guancha.
- Las Creces: A circular route in the heart of Garajonay National Park.
- Pajarito – Alto de Garajonay – Pajarito: Walk among archaeological sites until you reach the highest point on the island.

- What food to take You can take nuts, which besides being a tasty snack provide you with energy and nutrients. You can also take fruit or a sandwich. And above all, do not forget to take water with you. Remember that there you’ll also find restaurants along many of the trails where you can replenish your strength with the typical foods of La Gomera.
