Beaches

Interpretation Center The potters of Fencing: Traditional Pottery

In this center the whole family can watch as the potters clay El Cercado work, without turning, as did their ancestors. This is a very old craft technique preserved in La Gomera and was practiced by the natives of the island. The most typical piece is the carabucho, used for milking goats. This traditional craft is performed exclusively by women and transmitted from mothers to hijas.El Center is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:30.

Burro park la Gomera

This donkey park is located in Roses, Agulo, a few meters from Garajonay National Park. The main objective of Burro Park La Gomera is the conservation and breeding of different breeds of donkeys. In addition to horses and donkeys they have organized trips for children 1 to 12 years accompanied by an adult and for over 12 years and adults with different duration and travel. Also active contact with animals and learning, have an organic garden and even celebrate birthdays. It is open all year from 10:00 to 21:00 h.
